GroupMe! Project
The GroupMe! project brings together Web 2.0 and Semantic Web techniques. The GroupMe! community plattform (http://groupme.org/) is a social tagging system, which enables users to group arbitrary web resources, arrange them on a graphical panel, and tag both, groups and resources. Resources dragged into groups are enriched with RDF descriptions extracted or gathered from the (Semantic) Web. And each user interaction (grouping and tagging) is captured as RDF. RDF produced in GroupMe! is feeded back to the Web. The GroupMe! approach - i.e. the GroupMe! folksonomy model, which extends traditional folksonomies with a group dimension, and the GroupMe!'s RDF generation mechanism - has several advantages.
